The farmhouse in Ravello lithograph was made shortly after Escher sat on the Amalfi Coast hillside and made a pastel in preparation for the final print. It is signed, numbered, and annotated and priced by Escher for 25 florins. It appears at some time he changed the price, but the print was not sold. This print was in Escher’s studio when he passed away.
This beautiful work has never been previously framed.
